Robert Harris

M.A., LMFT-S, LPC-S

(he/him/his)

Individuals, Families and Couples

Robert is a solutions-focused, systemic and ACT influenced therapist. He enjoys working with individuals, parents, couples, and families. Being vulnerable and talking about difficult things can be really tough, so Robert works hard to make the therapy experience both manageable and approachable. He truly believes that laughter can be one of our strongest and most effective healing tools and looks for ways to make therapy not only effective but also (dare we say) fun.

In his practice, Robert prioritizes helping clients feel safe, hopeful, and connected through building camaraderie, using humor, showing up authentically, active listening, staying genuinely curious and even utilizing self-disclosure when appropriate and helpful. His relaxed and genuine manner allows clients to feel truly connected to him and many clients have shared that they appreciate how down to earth he is because they can easily relate to him. It’s this deep sense of connectedness that can go a long way in the healing process!
