Couples and Family Therapy

I specialize in working with couples and families to address and resolve conflicts, enhance communication, and rebuild connections. By examining the dynamics within your relationships and the broader context of your family systems, I help you uncover patterns that may be contributing to current struggles. My approach is holistic, considering the interplay between individual experiences, relational dynamics, and cultural influences. Together, we will work towards creating a more harmonious and fulfilling relationship.

Eating Disorders

In addition to relationship counseling, I have a passion for supporting individuals and families dealing with eating disorders. These challenges often intertwine with emotional and relational issues, and I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to address both the psychological and physical aspects of these disorders. My goal is to help you or your loved one develop a healthier relationship with food, body image, and self-worth.

My Approach

I believe in treating the whole person or relationship, not just the symptoms. By exploring past experiences and family influences, we can gain insights into current difficulties and work towards meaningful, sustainable change. My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration, empowering you to tap into your inner strength and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.

Together, We Can Achieve

My aim is to support you in understanding yourself better and equipping you with the tools to face challenges head-on. I am committed to helping you foster positive change, embrace self-love, and cultivate the best version of yourself.

If you’re ready to take the first step towards a more fulfilling life and healthier relationships, I’m here to help. Let’s embark on this journey together.

About Me

Life is a journey full of complexities and challenges. Navigating relationships can present significant challenges; whether with partners, family members, friends, or oneself. As a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate, my mission is to guide you through these problems, fostering healthier relationships and a deeper understanding of yourself.

CAtherine’s goal for all clients is for them to understand themselves and know how to handle challenges that come their way. She believes in helping Her clients harness the strength they have within themselves. We all have the power to overcome anything, love who we are, and be our best selves.

Life is not easy, and being happy with our lives, relationships, and who we are can be challenging. Add stress to the mix, and our lives can suddenly feel out of control. I am here to help you regain control in all aspects of your life.

Do you struggle with communication? Are you quick to anger? Are you being bullied at school? Are you using unhealthy ways to cope? Are your relationships suffering?

Catherine approaches clients’ struggles through a systemic lens. Our experiences, family, relationships, and culture all influence who we are and contribute to our ups and downs.

Learning about your childhood and early relationships can help determine if something in your background is impacting your life and current relationships. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, Catherine is committed to treating the whole person or relationship, not just the symptom.
